Ramadhan itu

Pada sandaran tembok berukir

Dalam tenang hamparan masjid

Menemukan aku dengan Umaimah

Galak matanya menguntum rindu

Halus tawanya memekar sayang

Malam itu

Kala aku berjeda nafas melagukan mushaf

Juwairiyah melabuh duduk di pinggir simpuh

*khalah ‘aisyah ! Ramadhan madhi arafftu khalah aisyah

Haza Ramadhan, araftuki khalah 'aisyah!

Lalu ikal pekat rambut Juwairiyah kuluruti

Anak itu sungguh-sungguh membekas cinta.

Masjid itu

Berbakti merajut ukhwah

Antara aku dan Mariah Qibtiyah

Bersih wajahnya dilapisi jilbab hitam

Mengintai sorok bening matanya

Khalah ‘aisyah hal anti talbisu khimar?

Bibir delima itu menawar ramah

Kubalas dengan rangkul kasih buatmu Mariah

Iktikaf itu

bagai sebuah taman bertabur kemilau lazuardi

pada teduh wajah saajidin mengirim doa pada Tuhan

pada melodi sendu saajidat membenam dosa di lewat sujud

pada perindu akhirat menjamah inti mushaf merai nuzul

sungguh!

Kusaksikan lingkaran cemerlang cahaya menyimbah bumi

Membawa segenap roh para muktafikin ke syurga

Hari ini

Aku datangi pintu masjid

Merisik khabar tetamu Allah asyik di rentang sejadah

Umaimah mendepa tangan mengharap sebuah dakapan

khalah! Khalah!

Wajahnya membenam dalam erat pelukku

khalah, sarjai’ ilal Yemen abadan

Sebuah pertemuan yang berisi perpisahan

Lapisan kaca retak berderai dalam kucup buatmu Umaimah.

Duhai Ramadhan

Sebuah hadiah dari Tuhan

Akanku lepaskan ke dermaga illahi

Benar!

Persinggahanmu menjirus aksara cinta!

When a man meets a woman

Bismillah
No, there's no courtship or 'fell in love' scene that happened.

I was about to feed Hadi. My routine after he woke up and change his nappy. As i entered the kitchen and start mixing the rice with water, there was a knock on the door. I left Hadi at the baby chair and walked towards the door.

I opened the door.
Assalamualaikum..he said.
He wore glasses, grey thobe and kufi. He brought a desert with him.
I replied the greeting.
I was holding the door, I immediately knew I cant invite him in.
As soon as he sees me, he moves behind the door, which was a decorated glass. Barely seeing him. Only the desert was visible.

Is this Dr. Zarina's house?..he said
I replied yes.
Can you call Abdul Azim for me?
I left the door ajar. I called Azim a few times, even went upstairs...
But he didn't hear me. Too tired perhaps after we went swimming in NAC yesterday.

I came back to the 'invisible man' at the door.
Sorry, i dont think he hears me..I said
"Its ok, can you just tell him that *** came. And can you help give this to him"
Thank you sister. Assalamualaikum.

I knew him. Dont worry, he's married.

I was amazed by such attitude. Some might think it is rude. But, in our beautiful religion, this what we call good manners. What? You think by talking behind a screen will make your conversation with your non mahram complicated?
NO
NO
NO

I hope every muslim practice the manners when communicating between the opposite gender, be it brother or sister.

It's easy to write it here. May Allah give the strength to do so inshaAllah.

Mafhum ayah 30-31 an noor
Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and be modest. That is purer for them. Lo! Allah is aware of what they do. (30)

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms.....(31)

Don't wish me Happy Birthday

Bismillah

Garang bunyi. Ya, ia hampir berbunyi fi'il amar. Saya mahu sambut harijadi saya mengikut kalendar hijrah. Selama ini tidak terfikir untuk buat. Setelah saya membuat semakan, harijadi saya jatuh pada tanggal 23 Raby` al-THaany/Rabi'ul akhir.

I was born on Tuesday 23 Raby` al-THaany 1408 A.H. And it comes with a 'warning' :)
There is a small probability of one day error

Munajat

Wahdi fi dhulmati layli
Fi wahshati darbi
Hammi yuthqiluni
Dhanbi yu’limuni
Alone, in the darkness of my night
In the loneliness of my path
My worries weigh me down
My sins pain me

Wahdi, ad’uka wa arju
Min dhanbi ashku
Mali siwak
Ana fi himak
Alone, I supplicate to You and I hope
From my sins I complain
I have no one but You
I am at Your door

CHORUS:
Farham ‘abdan najak
Ya Allah, ya Allah
Anta alraja
Minka alhuda
Ya Allah, ya Allah
So forgive a servant who intimately calls You
O Allah, O Allah
You are all hope, From You is guidance
O Allah, O Allah

Rabbahu hudak
Ma ziltu asir
Wa’alal ‘isyan
Ma ‘udtu qadir
Fa’anir durubi
Waghfir dhunubi
Fa’anal faqir
O Allah give me your guidance
For I am still imprisoned
Of disobedience I am no longer capable
So illuminate my paths and forgive my sins
For I am poor and in need of You

Qad ‘adal qalbu
Fiddarbi yasir
Farihan mushtaqan
Lillahi yatir
Wa rajahu ridhaka
Yawma liqaka
Antal qadir
My heart has returned to walk on the path
Full of joy and longing, flying to God
And its only hope is gaining your pleasure
On the day of meeting You
You are the Omnipotent

CHORUS

A song to ponder on. Me especially. At this very moment...

When someone passed me a few islamic songs she said,
"These may be a form of entertainment for us, a good choice, but don't let your iman flows with the melody, strengthen it"
What a wise advice...thank you dear friend
